Highlights

This workshop invites participants to enter the transformative world of paper art. Through traditional techniques of marbling and paste paper, you will personally experience how pigments flow, mix, and collide on water to create one-of-a-kind patterns. From color selection to pattern creation, this is not just a visual treat but a hands-on exercise in personal creativity.

Program

Marbling boasts a long history and offers a unique sensory experience. In this two-session workshop, book and paper artist Percy So will guide participants through fluid printing techniques. Students will learn how to manipulate the flow of colors on the water's surface, crafting intricate patterns. The resulting papers are not only vibrant but also practical, suitable for use as book covers, endpapers, or decorative inserts to elevate any creative project.
