Artist Perspectives
Tam Hiu-yi, based in Hong Kong, has long observed the transformations within urban spaces, focusing particularly on the imprints and layers accumulated on public walls over time. She translates these 'urban wall memories' into ceramic works, utilizing unique material treatments to present a serene quality and multi-layered texture reminiscent of fictional walls, reflecting the subtle rhythms of urban history.
