Reader's Theatre 'King's Tribute' - A Homage to Dr. Chung King-fai

Highlights This reader's theatre production brings together three major Hong Kong theatre organizations—the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies, the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, and the Chung Ying Theatre Company—to pay tribute to the late theatre master Dr. Chung King-fai. This event not only revisits classic plays through reader's theatre but also invites stage partners who have worked with King Sir to share rehearsal stories and fond memories. ## Program This event features excerpts from three classic plays closely associated with Dr. Chung King-fai: 'Our Town', 'On Golden Pond', and 'Tuesdays with Morrie'. Through the moving performances of veteran actors, the audience will be led to rediscover the essence of love, marriage, death, and life. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. ## Performers Artistic Directors: Chan Kam-kuen, Fung Luk-tak. Featuring: Chow Chi-fai, Ko Hon-man, Yu Hon-ting, Kwok Ching-man, Ting Tung-yan, Poon Tai-ming, Wong Hiu-yee, Luk Ka-kei, Zhang Yan, Fung Luk-tak, Au Ka-man, Lau Sik-yin, Cheung Ho-kin, Lo Chi-sun, and many other veteran theatre artists. ## Venue & Access The event will be held at the HKREP Black Box Theatre, located on the 8/F of the Sheung Wan Civic Centre. It is conveniently located near the Sheung Wan MTR station. ## Ticketing The participation fee is HKD 250 (deposit). Participants must pay the deposit to reserve a seat. After attending the event, the deposit will be automatically refunded to the payment account within approximately 6 to 8 weeks. No refund will be provided for absence.
