This Mid-Autumn Festival, YHA Mei Ho House invites the public to its 2026 Open Day and Family Fun Day, themed "The Moonlight is Beautiful Tonight." Guests are welcomed to explore this revitalized historic building, which stands as a witness to the city's collective memory, and celebrate the season within its unique walls.

The event offers a diverse range of activities for all ages:
- Memory Explorer: Search for "Memory Cards" scattered throughout the Heritage of Mei Ho House, solve the code, and collect "Golden Memory Spheres." Follow their social media pages to redeem a souvenir.
- Guided Tours by Former Residents: Former residents will share firsthand stories of life in the resettlement estate, offering deep insights into the neighborhood's history.
- Moon-Chasing Challenge: An interactive hunt where participants traverse the hostel and museum to collect moon phase icons. Completing the challenge qualifies you for a grand lucky draw, with prizes including a free night's stay.
- Open House Room Tours: Experience the hostel rooms firsthand, exploring how historic architecture is seamlessly blended with modern accommodation design.
- Family Fun Day: A series of workshops and booth games designed for multi-generational participation, perfect for families to enjoy quality time together.
Dining & Important Notices
During the open day, the on-site restaurant "MMM Coffee" will offer a 10% discount all day, including kid-friendly meal options. Please note that pets are not permitted on-site (except guide dogs) due to crowd management. Participants are required to be members of the "Mei Ho House Alumni Network" (on-site free registration available). All activities will be conducted in Cantonese. First-aid services will be provided on-site. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or adjust event arrangements in the event of adverse weather.
