Acting Beginners Class (33rd & 34th Intake)

Highlights

The "Acting Beginners Class" is specially tailored for novices aged 16 and above who are curious about theatre. Over a 10-hour intensive course, participants will break out of their comfort zones through interactive activities, learning to trust their instincts and embrace the spontaneity of performance.

Program

Led by professional instructors from the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, the curriculum blends theatre games, physical training, role-playing, and group improvisation. Students will learn the fundamentals of acting, utilizing voice, costumes, and props to ignite their imagination. The final session concludes with a "Character Party," where participants apply their skills in a simulated, immersive setting.

Ticketing

• Course Fee: HKD $2,400
• Discounts: 5% discount for HKRep "Friends of the Rep" and Green Pal members.
• Notes: Classes are conducted in Cantonese. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants with 80% attendance will receive a certificate.
