Highlights
The 3rd Tai O Sampan Night Cruise is jointly presented by the Tai O Cultural Association and Tai O Heritage Hotel, with support from the Hong Kong Heritage Conservation Foundation. This year, the event centers on the theme of 'Tai O Fish Migration,' inviting visitors to travel back in time and revisit the glorious past of the water village.
The most unique aspect is the only hand-rowed sampan experience in Hong Kong. Participants will board sampans steered by the 'Lu Friends'—a team composed of local fishermen's descendants—and navigate the serene waterways while hearing stories of Tai O’s evolution. It is not just a tour; it is a deep dive into local culture and heritage.
