This October, Pokfulam Farm proudly hosts its inaugural "Milk Festival." Centered around the theme of milk, this event series bridges the farm's 140-year heritage with contemporary life. It offers a unique opportunity for the public to explore the development of Hong Kong's dairy industry and local village culture through immersive, hands-on experiences.

Highlights

We have curated three core activities for all to enjoy:

• Shake! Shake! Handmade Butter Workshop: Transform heavy cream into fresh, handmade butter. Participants can challenge their palates with seasonal flavours like cinnamon honey or smoky bacon sea salt, and enjoy their creation immediately with fresh bagels and toast.
• Farm Tour & Milk-Dyeing Workshop: Explore the historic buildings and learn the authentic stories of Hong Kong's dairy farming history. Afterward, learn traditional Sappanwood dyeing techniques from villagers, using milk as a medium to create a one-of-a-kind handkerchief with gentle red textures.
• Butter Fun Run: Experience the global craze of the "Butter Run" right here in Hong Kong! Participants must shake cream into butter while running—a perfect blend of fitness and fun. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged for this creative run!

Venue & Access

The event takes place at the historic Pokfulam Farm, located at 141A Pok Fu Lam Road. We invite everyone to visit and immerse themselves in this unique cultural heritage site.
