From October 10 to November 1, 2026, The Mills hosts "Tales of the Crawlers," a unique Halloween event that diverges from traditional horror themes. Instead, it offers a surreal, educational ecological journey, showcasing insects, amphibians, reptiles, and other rare species.

Program

The event encompasses exhibitions, hands-on workshops, and a thematic food market, perfect for families and animal enthusiasts alike:

• Spooky Creature Exhibition: Collaborating with the Hong Kong Insect Education & Science Popularization Centre (HKIEC) to present rare species, including African Pygmy Mice and Emperor Scorpions.
• Playground & Workshops: Interactive games, touch-and-feel adventures, and a "Junior Keeper" experience provide hands-on learning about animal behavior.
• Creature Catwalk Competition: Children and pets are invited to dress up, showcasing creative and eco-friendly costumes.
• "Black" Themed Food Market: A curated market featuring food stalls offering truffle, squid ink, and charcoal-infused delicacies.

Venue & Access

The event takes place at The Mills, Tsuen Wan. Visitors are recommended to take the MTR to Tsuen Wan Station, followed by a 10-15 minute walk.

Ticketing
