Overview
This seminar, specifically designed for caregivers, explores how to manage financial planning amidst the heavy burden of caregiving. The goal is to provide participants with the skills to plan confidently, avoid financial traps, and maintain family harmony.
Highlights
- Financial Budgeting for Illness and Ageing: An in-depth analysis of common medical, rehabilitation, and long-term care costs. Learn how to plan ahead and establish a flexible financial buffer.
- Financial Self-Protection for Caregivers: Strategies on how to support family members without sacrificing your own quality of life or future retirement security, ensuring personal assets are not over-consumed.
- Resolving Family Financial Conflicts: Master practical communication techniques to reach consensus with family members regarding the division of care expenses, ensuring that "talking about money" does not damage relationships.
Speakers
- Prof. Yiu Wai-mei: Professor of Practice in the Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies at the Education University of Hong Kong, with extensive experience in personal financial training.
