Stage Play: You Liao Shen Yin

Program Overview

'You Liao Shen Yin' is a compelling stage play that delves into the themes of urban loneliness and human connection. Set in a corner bar named 'Fangdang Bar' (Loose Bar), the story gathers lonely urbanites seeking solace and a place to unburden their hearts. The bar is managed by a cross-dressing hostess who refers to himself as the 'Hostess.' He provides a sanctuary for four distinct male escorts—Mei, Lan, Zhu, and Ju—each harboring their own secrets and emotional scars. In this space, they listen to the hidden stories of their patrons, offering a refuge where guests can feel pampered and heard, proving that even in the bustling city, the existence of ordinary people holds deep value.
