Overview

“Subtropical Sharing-Table Travelogue” is an evocative art exhibition presented by four alumni of the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity: Chan Sze-yu, Wong Yuen-yau, Hung Chung-kit, and Tang Lok-to. This collaborative showcase serves as a creative convergence where four distinct artistic voices intersect, experiment, and engage in a dialogue that explores the boundaries of their individual and collective practices.

Concept

The exhibition is framed by a poetic narrative: “Summer shadows cover autumn and winter, the lingering sound of fans and hidden whispers remain trapped. Toy insects drift with the current into puddles, while heartbeats land on windowsills and roads.” This narrative sets the stage for a display where disparate thoughts are woven together to create a space that is both independent and overlapping. The artists challenge one another through their works, responding to each other’s ideas or finding meaning in the silences between their creative approaches.

This exhibition features works from four alumni:

  • Chan Sze-yu
  • Wong Yuen-yau
  • Hung Chung-kit
  • Tang Lok-to
