Program Overview
"Walled City 1944: The Coffin Curse of Dongyang Camp" transports the audience back to 1944, a dark period when war loomed over the city. Dongyang Camp, a temporary prisoner-of-war facility, is home to a diverse group of internees—heroes, mystics, outcasts, and intellectuals—who are secretly planning their escape. However, the land holds dark, buried secrets dating back to before it became a camp. As soldiers and prisoners meet mysterious, inhuman deaths in the night, the players must face the growing terror.
Powered by the mechanics of Dungeons & Dragons, this performance blends the spontaneity of improv theatre with the unpredictability of tabletop role-playing. As audience members, you are not mere spectators; you enter this storytelling theatre to share the hearth, help the adventurers make choices, and cast the dice that dictate the ultimate fate of the story.
