Overview
This summer, the Hong Kong Central Library invites you to join the "2026 Reading Workshop." This series of gatherings is designed for literature enthusiasts, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where participants sit together to explore various literary styles, moving through both classical and modern texts. It is a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and fellow readers, and to share the imagination and inspiration triggered by the written word.
Speakers
The workshops will be led by a distinguished panel of educators and authors, including:
- Dr. Leung Shu-fung: Lecturer, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Topic: Tang Poetry)
- Dr. Ouyang Deying: Adjunct Lecturer, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Topic: Song Lyrics)
- Dr. Wong Hoi-yee: Part-time Lecturer, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Hong Kong Shue Yan University (Topic: Modern Poetry)
- Dr. Kwong Man-fung: Senior Lecturer, School of Arts and Social Sciences, Hong Kong Metropolitan University (Topic: Prose)
- Ms. Wen Ting: Writer and Teacher (Topic: Flash Fiction)

Venue & Access
Sessions will be held at Activity Room 1, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay. The venue is easily accessible via MTR (Causeway Bay or Tin Hau stations) and various bus routes along Causeway Road.
