Highlights

"Sister Workshop" is a social enterprise under the Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres. It empowers women caregivers and retirees by providing a platform for them to serve as workshop instructors, sharing their handicraft expertise while building confidence and community value. This session, the second in the summer workshop series, focuses on the creation of Ziyun Ointment.

Program

Ziyun Ointment, a traditional TCM remedy, is crafted from natural herbal ingredients such as gromwell (lithospermum), angelica, and sesame oil. Known for its moisturizing and antibacterial properties, it is highly effective for soothing skin. In this workshop, participants will learn the techniques to make their own jar of Ziyun Ointment, gaining insights into the wisdom of traditional Chinese skincare while taking home a personalized, natural product for their daily skincare routine.

Instructors

The workshop is facilitated by women caregivers and retirees from the Sister Workshop. They will share their extensive experience in handicrafts, fostering a warm, supportive, and inspiring environment for all participants.

Venue & Access

The event will be held at Room 1709-10, Landmark North, Sheung Shui. Participants can reach the venue by taking the MTR to Sheung Shui Station and walking through the connecting bridge to the mall.
