Highlights

"Staged Experimental Creation: R=Live/Lines" is an experiment that blurs the boundaries between technology and nature, observer and participant. The venue is transformed into a "Living Stone Garden" where mechanical installations act not just as objects, but as entities with their own habits, trajectories, and voices. Every touch or presence from the audience is instantly transformed into fluid light and sound, creating a collaborative composition between technology, body, and machine.

Program Introduction

This is an unscripted, immersive dialogue. Artistic Directors Wong Chi-chuen and Yu Lam-wai use the poetic formula "Position + Trajectory = Sound/Lines" to break traditional performance frames. The event is divided into two parts:

Sound Performance

Combining live mechanical operation with the sound design of composer Hugo Morales Murguía, this part delivers a real-time generated audiovisual experience. Each performance is followed by an artist talk.

Interactive Installation

Audience members are invited to enter the garden and converse with the mechanical stones through interactive technology, personally shaping this evolving soundscape.
