Overview

In an era dominated by digital technology, the "SATA Gaiden" exhibition invites visitors to slow down and rediscover the presence of "slowness" in the Hong Kong cityscape. Serving as an extension of the SATA Fest project "Between/Space," this exhibition continues the critical exploration of the relationship between humanity and time. Featured within are four sets of art installations created by mentors and students from the SATA Summer Academy. Drawing inspiration from traditional local businesses, these works use contemporary artistic language to reinterpret the rhythm and warmth of bygone times, sparking a dialogue on the coexistence of technology, time, and traditional values.
