In an era of rapid AI advancement and relentless pace, mental exhaustion has become a silent epidemic. The "MBCT-L: Live Like Water" course, presented by Ting Tan Mei Mindfulness Space, is specifically designed to rebuild psychological resilience. Based on the core curriculum of the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF), the course guides participants to awaken from "autopilot" mode and learn to face stress with the fluidity and flexibility of water.

Program Introduction

MBCT-L (Mindfulness for Life) is more than just meditation; it is a way of living. Through an eight-week systematic clinical program, participants will delve into:

  • Awakening from Autopilot: Regaining control over your mindset to stop constant depletion.
  • Perspective Shifting: Learning to embrace life's situations with the adaptability of water.
  • Emotional Regulation: Recognizing ingrained patterns of pleasure and displeasure without being swept away.
  • Skillful Responses to Stress: Understanding the sources of stress and choosing constructive strategies.
  • Integrating Mindfulness into Relationships: Applying mindful presence to daily interactions.

The program includes an online orientation, eight core weekly sessions, and a full-day in-person silent retreat, helping you build a balanced life.

Venue & Access

The course is primarily conducted online via Zoom. The location for the full-day in-person silent retreat will be announced by the organizer at a later date.

Ticketing

  • Standard Fee: HKD 3,800
  • EdUHK Alumni Discount: HKD 2,850 (must present proof of identity upon attendance)
  • Friend/Group Discount: HKD 3,300 per person for two or more participants enrolling together

Note: Participants must be 18 years or older. A certificate of attendance recognized by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation will be awarded upon completion of all eight sessions and the full-day retreat.
