• Upcycled Clothing Exhibition: Featuring unique fashion pieces redesigned by volunteers from the Tuen Yi Workshop, showcasing how creativity and textile manipulation can give old materials a new, stylish life.

Program

With the rise of online shopping and the rapid turnover of fashion trends, clothing has increasingly become a disposable commodity. However, the production of these garments consumes significant water resources and contributes to severe chemical pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. This carnival invites participants to explore the heavy toll that the "buy fast, discard fast" culture takes on our planet. Beyond interactive game booths and workshops, the event includes activities like the "Cow Hunt," making it a perfect outing for families and friends to experience a low-carbon lifestyle and build a zero-waste community together.

Important Notes

• All workshop materials are provided by "Green Tuen Mun" on a first-come, first-served basis; registration is on-site only.
• Children aged 8 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and they will complete the same finished product together.
• The queue for each workshop session opens 20 minutes before the session starts.
• The free second-hand market is for item distribution only; no item collection services will be provided.
