Overview
This "Mindful Breathing Beginner Meditation Class," presented by "Pause & Breathe," offers a structured introduction to meditation for beginners. Designed to be accessible and applicable to everyday life, the program features guidance from facilitators, video explanations, and group readings to help students grasp the essence of mindfulness.
Program
The course consists of four sessions covering the following topics:
- Session 1: Why Meditate
- Session 2: Living in the Present Moment
- Session 3: Finding Meaning in Life
- Session 4: The Art of Letting Go
In addition to the four physical group practice sessions, participants are welcome to join the weekly Wednesday night online practice to enrich their learning journey. This program is ideal for beginners who wish to learn progressively through face-to-face discussions and the power of group energy.
Requirements & Notes
- Open to individuals aged 12 and above.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.
- Participants are requested to wear loose-fitting, neutral-colored clothing made of cotton or linen; avoid tight jeans, shorts, sleeveless tops, or low-cut/revealing attire.
- Gentle movement sessions are included; please bring a towel and spare clothes.
- Shoes must be removed; please be prepared to go barefoot or wear non-slip, neutral-colored socks.
- Please bring your own reusable water bottle.
- Mobile phones and electronic devices must be turned off or set to airplane mode upon arrival.
- Note: No parking facilities are available at the venue.
