As a dedicated platform for local comic art and narrative storytelling in Hong Kong, the 4th edition of the Duk6Duk6 Narrative Reading Festival centers around the theme of "Escape." This event invites creators to respond to the pressures of contemporary life through comics, illustrations, and various literary media, offering a space for reflection, dialogue, and creative exchange.

Key Highlights

• Exhibitor Showcase: This year features 125 exhibitors, including independent comic artists, animators, internet writers, independent publishers, and boutique bookstores. Rotating over two days, the event offers a rich selection of publications, encouraging audiences to reconnect with the joys of physical storytelling.
• "Escape" Themed Exhibition: Featuring works collected through an open call, this exhibition presents diverse perspectives from creators locally and internationally, using visual narrative to explore the concept of "Escape."
• Introvert-Friendly Reading Zone: Designed for a stress-free experience, this area allows visitors to browse new publications at their own pace. Even when authors are not present, readers can leave notes to share their support and thoughts with creators.
• Pre-event Online Talks: Held on November 7th and 8th, a series of online seminars will feature creators and industry professionals sharing their insights and experiences in storytelling and publishing.
