As part of the 29th Anniversary celebrations of Hong Kong's return, this year's scale is set to be the largest in history, inviting everyone to witness the vibrant festivities.

Highlights

  • Inaugural 'Costume Competition': For the first time ever, the race features a creative maritime cosplay contest, where paddlers dress in imaginative outfits to compete for the title of 'Costume King,' adding a fun and modern twist to the traditional race.
  • Tanka Heritage: Experience authentic Tanka fishing community culture, complete with traditional bamboo scaffolding spectator stands and a lively atmosphere that reflects the city's maritime history.
